REMARKABLE MURDER TRIAL

174 NATIVES INDICTED FOR MURDER OUTCOME OF A WEDDING FEAST. (Received May 16, 9.35 p.m.) CAPETOWN, May 15. One of the most extraordinary trials in the history of this country has commenced before the Native High Court at Eshowe, Zululaiid. One hundred and seventy-four natives are charged with the murder of thirty-five natives killed in a tribal fight at a wedding feast. In all there were about eight hundred men in the affray. Owing to the large number of accused, tbo court was held outside under the trees.
