ARAWA ARRIVES
MAJOR-GENERAL RUSSELL ON BOARD. Frera Association. OHRISTCHUROH, May 14. The Arawa. with a. large draft of troops from Home, arrived in the harbour at 5 p.m. She is absolutely a clean ship, and will berth at daybreak. The southern men leave Lyttelton b> special’train at 8.17 a.m, Major-General Sir Andrew Russell, who is returning by the Arawa, will be accorded a civic reception at Lyttelton and Christchurch to-morrow, and will also bo entertained at luncheon by the Mayor and city Councillors of Christchurch.
