FOUND DROWNED

Press Association. DUNEDIN. May 13. At an inquest on the body of Mervyn Greene, found at Lawyer's Head this morning, the evidence showed that on the night he disappeared he had five or six drinks of whisky, then proceeding .to the chemist's for a pick-me-up. He subsequently visited the Tivoli tea rooms, but as he was not feeling well he went to a public convenience, where he was last seen. TTie deceased had had pneumonic influenza in Featherston camp last November, and he thought that it affected his heart. A verdict of found drowned was returned.
