Players.” The main attraction to-morrow will be a Triangle drama, entitled ‘Oassidy,” featuring Dick Rosson, one of the world’s foremost actors. The story tells of a young man who drifts into a Western city penniless and friendless. Finding no welcome iPaere and feeling weak and hungry, .he is . ready to commit any crime. The dimax that follows is said to be one of the most • thrilling ever seen in motion .pictures. A well-chosen list of supports will bo shown, including a . side-splitting Keystone comedy, “Wronged By Mistake,’' In addition, Air C. Melvin will sing “When the Groat Red Dawn is Shining.”
MISS CARRIE LANCELEY. A special, attraction has been arranged for next week at iSao King’s, commencing to-morrow. In addition to the usual .programme of-pictures, including tho star subject, “The Kingdom of -Youth,” featuring Tom Moore and Madge Kennedy, the management has arranged for tho appearance of Miss Carrie Lancoley, the brilliant soprano, and her melody maids. Referring to these artistes, who appeared for two weeks at His Majesty’s Theatre, Auckland, tho “New Zealand Herald” says: “The English soprano,’Miss Carrie Lanceloy, is heard in a number of , songs, ranging from operatic selections to national airs. All are rendered with the facility and grace of the bom singer! (Alarming selections on the violin wore contributed by Miss Ava Symons. Miss Nellie Simpson again demonstrated her perfect control of the flute. Alias Doris Struble acted as accompanist for tho party.” The plan is at the Bristol. THE KING’S THEATRE. At tho King’s Theatre the last screening of Norma Talmodgo as Puck in “The Safety- Curtain” takes place tonight. Commencing at the matineo, particular interest attaches,to the first appearance of' the gifted English soprano and her melody maids. Of the picture portion of the programme, the star item is tho reappearance of Tom Aldoro and Madge ’Kennedy in a Qoldwyn masterpiece, !‘l*ao Kingdom ot Youth.” Supports are in keeping with, the star. Tho King’s Grand Orchestra will play as an entr’acte Sullivan’s “Tho Gondoliers.” Tho J. O. Williamson Comic Opera Company, brought to a close a successful season in the Grand Opera House last night with a final presentation of “The Pink Lady.” ,
