CHAIRMAN OF HARBOUR BOARD , ELECTED. Press Assoclati.n. WESTPORT, May 8. Wilfred Thomas Slee was practically unanimously re-elected'chairman of thA Westport Harbour ’ Hoard, ‘ and ‘ James Horace Greenwood deputy-chairman. The Mayor (Mr Arthur Leaver) and the new borough councillors (Messrs Menzics, Enright, Parry, Roche, Wood, McKenzie, Pair, Weeks, and Jenkins) were sworn in last night. The Railway League and other local bodies are preparing to place facts before the Hon. W. D. S. MacDonald on Saturday night, in connection with tho Buller railway and the opening: of the new coalbeds’.,
