MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
The Wellington South Miniature Rifle Cluo has just completed the shooting for the first qunrtcr, and some interesting competitions haro been decided. The Haase Cup, which was competed for monthly, has been won outright by i\ Franklyn, after securing it four times at intervals.
'Bh« for .Mr J. P. Firth's tropby and the "Daily Express" Moclul resulted as follows: Faulknor 200. Goldfinch 205. Longman 204, McNie 203. M. Aiders 203, Evans '202, Pottos 202. Recs 201. Conibear 200. Dement 200, Scott 200, Neall 200. In the Rhoofc-off between Fanlknor and Goldfinch, Faulknor won by a poinf. Tho competition fur the Osmond Shield for April was won by Neni), whoso win was very popular.
The teams' match of four men aside for tho club badges was competed for by teams picked by Messrs Adams, Franklyn. Goldfinch, mid Faulknor. It resulted in a tie between three teams, but in the shoot-off the team consisting of Messrs McNie. Lippett, l fidfinch and Pym. succeeded in winning the badges. The Hub is about to take part <n a series of inter-club matches, under t'r.e supervision nf the W.M.R.A.. and 'omo interesting matches aro being looked forward to.
