The quality was not so good as last week. _ At the commencement of the .sale compotition was animated, prices being better than last week,' but later they receded to last week's level. Prime wethers 42s to 52s 9d, medium 31s to 40s, light unfinished 24s to 30s 3d, primo ewes 30s to 39s 9d, medium 2.1 s to 28s 6d. light unfinished 10s to 23s 6d. tnnibs—lso6 penned, the quality being medium.
