The semi-finals in the tug-of-war tourney in connection with the Catholic bazaar took place at the Sydney Street Schoolroom last night. Petone successfully pulled Karori after a hard tussle. The most exciting pull of the tourney resulted from the meeting between Sergeant Wade's team and Marshall's team, tho latter eventually winning by 2in. The finals will take place to-night, Marshall's team being pitted against Potdne. Sergeant Wade's team will pull Karori for. third place. Vi'ter the tug-of-war, the bazaar will bo brought to a close with a Dutch auction. .
