A campaign to laise i lO.tk’O ic the Auckland military district for the Red Cross commenced to-day with an “Our Day” appeal, in which aE patriotic organisations of the city and suburbs co-operated. The effort favoured by fine weather, and the public responded freely, over £SOOO being collected during the day.
