PECULIAR EXEMPTION APPEAL

HYPNOTIST BEFORE MILITARY SERVICE BOARD.

AUCKLAND, October 19.

At the sitting of the Military Service Board to-day exemption was claimed by George W'ilberforco Wilson on the ground of rendering public service as a medical hypnotist. The appellant stated that he had been working in conjunction with the medical proicssion for eighteen months, and asked for an opportunity to continue working for the benefit of the soldiers.

The board decided to recommend Wilson for ambulance work, with a suggestion that his services as a hypnotist might bo utilised.
