“IT IS FOR ENGLAND”

Tho official Navy League super-feature, "It Is For England,” will bo presented for the first time at tho Queen’s, Theatre, Cuba street, this afternoon, at 2.30. Tho production marks an epoch in pictureproducing in Great Britain, and was onlyrendered possible by the support of tlio British Government and tho co-operation of the naval authorities, who granted unprecedented facilities for the filming of the Grant Fleet and other big naval spec, tacles, and for the scenes that were enacted in tho British House of Commons. "It Is For England” is not only a record of the magnificent work done by tho Grand Fleet in the North Sea and other historic places. It tells a powerful and romantic story, with many- tender lovo episodes, of how the menace to England in tho form of a horde of German spies was defeated. There are fifty special scenes in the drama. These include tho mobilising of the fleet, subraarinochasing and capture of Gorman U-boats ; fcbo House of Commons in actual debate during a war session; the Welsh coal minors’ strike: the forming of Kitchener’s Army: the arrival of the Colonial troops being but a few of them. “It la For England” is an inspiring story with a big patriotic uplift. The box plan is at The Bristol till noon, and afterwards at the Queen’s Theatre.
