MILITARY SERVICE BOARD
CASES DEALT WITH YESTERDAY. Tho Third "Wellington Military Service Board met again yesterday under tiro presidency of Air H. J. Beswick, with Messrs A. O’L. Considine and M. J. Mack. Captain P. Baldwin represented tie military authorities. Twenty-two appeals regarding seamen and firemen were adjourned indefinitely. Tho following cases were similarly treated; —Horace H. AI. Alarsden, moat preserver, Petone; Edward W. Humphrey, transport shipping clerk; Emitt Stanley, market gardener, Porirna; and John S. Juleff, farmer, Johnsonville. Tho case of Joseph G. Smith, field secretary Y.M.C.A., Wellington, was adjourned for a month. In tho case of William Ozamis, marine engineer, tho appeal was allowed, on tho ground that the appellant was not a First Division reservist. Tho board adjourned until to-day.
