“IT IS FOR ENGLAND"
The official Navy League photo-play* “It is for England,” will make its great appeal to the Wellington public at the Queen’s Theatre, Cuba street, to-mor-row, starting at 2.30 p.m. The story of “It is for England’’ was written to inspire the British people with the proper feeling of detestation for German sx<y methods. England was asleep, and the spies went on with their dastardly work and no one seemed to oare. At last the British Government woke up bo tbo real danger, and then it had to rouse the people. One of the surest methods was the photo-play. “It is foi England” was written. The British Government and the Naval authorities gave unprecedented facilities to the author to make the picture the greatest and the moat appealing story ever told by the aid of a camera. It is at once a powerful love story, and a hitter denunciation of the apathy of the British people. Every scene in the play is authentic, and the glamour of romance that surrounds the story makes the facts more impressive. The season will ho for seven nights and matinees. Tbo box plan is at the Bristol.
