THOENDON v. HUTT LADIES. A :«am of ladies* belonging to the Thermion Tennis Club visited the Hntt green yesterday -afternoon and played games against the lady members of the local club, the results being as follows: Singles. Mi fw C. Stevens (Hutt) beat Mias Seed (Thorndon), 7—2; Mrs Wagg (Hutt) beat Miss Smyrna (Thorndon), 7--4; Miss Kennedy (Thcrndon) beat Hiss Callender (Hutt), 7—2; Miss Wilson (Hutt) beat Miss Lever (Thorndon), 7 —B. Doubles. Miss and Miss O. Stevens (Hutt) boat Mrs March banks and Miss Kennedy (Thorndon). 7—5; Mies Seed and Miss Smythe (Tnorndon) beat Mrs Wagg and Miss Callender (iiutt), 7—5; Miss Wilson and Mies Speedy (Hutt) boat Miss Cray and Miss Lever (Thorndon), 7—5.
