Many Imes in the Dominion had been authorised, but not a shilling was available for them, and it might be from sis to eight years before some could be started. The Government was not going to pay 6 or 7 per cent, for money, and public works would have to wait if such a rate had to be paid. The Minister goes to Gore on Mondav, Edendale on Tuesday, and Balcliitha on Tuesday evening.
