SAWMILLERS PROTEST
Press Association. TAXHAPE, February 21. Sawmillera in the- district are making common cause with the millers of noth islands in a Vigorous protest egaiDst the uon-inclusion of a represeiitative of the industry on the Afforestation Commission. They advocate Mr Morris, of Greymouth, and Mr Ems, of Hamilton, as practical representstires, and are pressing their cJaims strenuously, chiefly, on account of tee white pine reference in clause 4. It is considered imperative the industry phould be represented.
