TRADE UNIONS AND RAILWAYS BILLS. (Received February 20, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 20. . The House of 'Lords read a third time the Trade Unions Bill and the Railways Bill. . They deleted a clause subjecting the latter to the necessity of annual renewal after five years, on the ground that the Government was breaking a pledge given to the railways. The Government urged that the Lords’ action endangered the Bill.
