FRENCH PRESIDENCY
A REMARKABLE DEMONSTRATION. PARIS. February 19. The fact that M. Poincare, the new President, is a native of Lorraine, led to a remarkable demonstration in the streets yesterday, when he was installed at the Elysee. Many of the shops were shut, and the Parisians made holiday in tho afternoon.
