ALLEGED DEFAMATION
A JOURNALIST RELEASED. RANGOON, February 20. Mr Arnold, tho journalist who was entenced in October last to a year's imprisonment for defamation of the District Magistrate at Morguj, whom jo accused of wrongfully acquitting *a British officer charged with the abduction of a native girl, ha» been released. Recently the Viceroy of India decided to remit eight months of the sentence passed on Mr Arnold.
