INSANE BEFORE DEATH
THE DISPUTED WILL CASE. LONDON, February 19. The bearing was continued in the Probate Court of the case Hayden Erskine Starke, an application for the revocation of the codrcal of the will of Miss Maria Mattingley, of Kensington, bequeathing £2600 to Dr Frederick Bryan, an Australian, and Miss Mattingley’a grand nephew; also £7500 to Mrs Starve, a passenger by the ill-fated steamer Waratah. It was stated that Dr Bryan bad found Mira Mattingley neglected, and suffering from cancer. He cleared out the servants, and arranged for the house to he. cleaned. The bequest to him was duo to Miss Mattingley’s gratitode. Testatrix afterwards suffered from delusion*, and became insane shortly before her death. ,lt was reported yesterday that the firWK/'KI loft tbe rsiane of Miss Matting, ley’s estate (£VtjO oo) equally between Bryan and Starke, a condition being that if either predeceased Miss Mattingley the whole of the residue was to go to the imrTTTOTV
