HEAVY DAMAGE TO BUTCHERS’ PREMISES. (Received February 19, 9.45 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 19, A fire on the premises of Angliss and Company, butchers, in Bourko street east, destroyed the top floor, containing paper, flour, spices, and refrigerating materials. Damage was done to refrigerators containing fifteen thousand carcases. The insurances on stock and buddings total £15,000.
