THE BETTING INDUCEMENTS BILL. LONDON, Febrpary 18. Following the . introduction of the Newton Betting Inducements Bill, the “Sportsman” and “Sporting Life” and a majority of _ other sporting journals have conditionally agreed to cease publishing tipsters’ advertisements, and propose a press control committee- to regulate bookmakers’ advertisements.
