WAGES BOARD INQUIRY IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, February 19. Before the Wages Board Inquiry, witnesses gave evidence that since 1910 the rent ofTioufies hqd advanced 20 per cent, and the price of groceries 15 per cent. There had also been a great increase in tbe cost of clothing. AQ of this is attributed to the greater cost of labour, the result of Wages Board awards.
