LYELL MINE DISASTER

FIVE BODIES RECOVERED. HOBART, February 18. Five bodies have been recovered from the 700 ft level of the North Mount Lyell mine. They aro in a wonderful state of preservation.-, All indications are that they died from carbon monoxide poisoning. The work of clearing the mine is proceeding steadily.
