HOSPITAL SATURDAY
COMPLETE RETURNS
The complete figures relating to the Hospital Saturday/and Sunday collections were placed before the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board yesterday. These showed:
On tho motion of the chairman (Mr J. Trevor) the board passed a motion of thanks to all those who had assisted in making the collections such o success. Mr J. Godber referred to the contribution given by the Chinese residents 'of Wellington. This was, he thought, all the more noteworthy when they recollected that only two or three Chinamen were treated in the hospital in tho course of a year.
