MISSIONARY MEETING

A missionary demonstration was held in connection with the conference in tho evening. The Rev. W. Ready presided over a largo attendance. Addresses were delivered by the Rev. J. M. K. Gilmour, a New Guinea missionary, and by a native boy brought to New Zealand by Mr Gilmour. They spoke of tlio work don© in tho mission. It was urged that if any church should he missionary in its nature it should be this new church, born in the year of the centenary of Methodist missions.
