For the sculling championship ol Australia Paddon beat Felton by twen* tv-five lengths. ‘The water, and weather were favour* able to a good race. At the mile and a half Felton, who was leading, had rowed himself out. Paddon, forging ahead, won. easily in 21min 12sec. Felton declared that_ he had no excuse. He was in the pink of condition and was beaten by a better, man. PEARCE SAILS FOR ENGLAND. SYDNEY.
