IMMIGRATION BILL
VETOED BY PRESIDENT TAFT. - (Received February 16, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, February 16. President Taft has vetoed the Immigration Bill imposing a literary test on all foreigners seeking to enter, the United States. The President denounced the test as unlikely even to afford relief from the dangers which the'authors of the measure supposed to exist.
