BALLARAT YOUTH DIRECTS THE POLICE. MELBOURNE t February 15. The stolen bag of jewellery was recovered in an outhouse at Ballarat. The youth who stole it directed the police to .the place. Ho was sentenced to four months imprisonment. A traveller at Ballarat railway station asked a youth to carry his hag containing JJXOOO worth of jewellery. The youth suddenly fled and escaped with the yaluablee.
