Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 14. John Elder, a dwarf, fell off a baker’s cart at Mosgiel, and died on the way to the hospital. Ho is supposed to have sustained concussion of the brain. AUCKLAND, February 14. At an inquest on the body of a male infant found in the city sanitary depot, a- witness stated that several bodies had been found during the last four or five years, but that they were small ones, and no notice had been taken of them. The jury returned a verdict that death was due to neglect, the result being manslaughter by some person unknown. A Maori named Ropiha was found insensible in tho street early yesterday morning, and was removed to tho sanatorium, where he died last night. He was last seen riding a horse, and it 33 presumed he fell off.
