CIVIL SESSIONS. CLAIM FOll DAMAGES. The civil sessions of tho Supreme Court were continued before his Honor Mr Justice Chapman yesterday. John Rose and Isabella Rose proceeded against the Equity Boot Co., Ltd., for damages in respect to certain trees encroaching on their property. The statement of claim showed that tire plaintilfs’ and defendants’ properties adjourned in lugestre street, and on defendants’ land mere were a number of high trees ruuning from lugestre street to the back boundary of plaintiffs’ land. Defendants had allowed the trees to grow to such an extent that they wore a nuisance to plaintiffs and the occupation of their premises. The roots nud damaged plaintiffs’ path and destroyed their drains, and they had to pay £-7 os 6d in getting the obstructions removed. Plaintiffs therefore applied tor an injunction restraining defendants from continuing tho nuisance, and claimed £250 damages. Mr A. Dunn appeared'for tho plaintiffs, and Mr C. F. Skevrett, K..C. (with him Mr T. C. A. Hislop), for the defendants. His Honor reserved his decision. PROBATES, ETC.
