MARTON RAM FAIR
Press Association. MARTON, February 14. The first ram fair under the auspices of the newly-formed Agricultural and Pastoral Association was hold to-day. The attendance was only fair. With the exception of a few pens-the sheep were of inferior quality, and consequently there was almost a total absence of competition, a number being passed in. The entries numbered about 400. In Southdowns Edward Newman secured top price, 7gns; 'n Shrophires, G. L. Marshall, 3gns; Romneys, estate of W. A. Ellis, Signs; Lincolns, J. W Bowen, Signs.
