MRS. SCOTT RECEIVES NEWS
HOW A MOTHER LEARNT OF THE . DISASTER. LONDON, February 12. Mrs Scott, who is on the steamer Ai rangi, en route from San Francisco to Wellington, received news of the disaster by wireless. ROME, February 12. Lieut. Bowers’s mother learnt of the disaster by reading English telegrams posted at a public library.
