OCCUPANTS ESCAPE THROUGH WINDOW. Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 12. A fire Broke out in a bedroom attached to Murrell’s jewellery and fanevo giods shop at Alexandra about 2 o’clock this morning, and the place was completely gutted. The occupants Mrs McGlashan and Miss Murrell escaped through a bedroom window in night attire. Insurances; £l3O on the house, owned by Mrs Cameron; £2OO on stock, £IOO on furniture, and £24 on a volunteer challenge shield.
