WEDNESDAY ASSOCIATION. Another round in the Wednesday Cricket Association's senior grade competition was commenced yesterday. The weather was fine,- the wickets in good order and there were a fair number of spectators present. VIVIAN v. ARTILLERY. Vnion made 140 (Dimdora 25, Cohen 19, Wicks 12, and Kirby 12).. For Union Haley took five wickets for eight runs, and Cohen four for 9. St. Patrick’s College made 87 (Rev. Father Cullen 28 - not out, Bartley 12, Flannigan 11) in their first innings against Red Gross. The latter replied" with 147 (ClapshaW 61, Fletcher 20, Haines 14, and Hill 13). For Red Cross Rouse took five wickets for 34 runs, and ClaphatU four for 17, and for St. Patrick’s College O’Donohue scoured five for 16. _____ WAREHOUSEMEN’S ASSOCIATION.
