MAD SUFFRAGETTES
MORE DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY. LONDON. February 10. Tho suffragettes smashed windows in the Reform, Carlton, Junior Carlton, Oxford, and Cambridge Clubs, and Prince Christian’s Rous©, The missiles were lead and fireclay balls. One of the offenders was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment, and two fined, tho alternative in tho latter cases being fixed at ten days’ imprisonment. Suffragettes cut tho Glasgow to London telegraph wires, and stockbrokers on Saturday last wore, in consequence, unablo to telegraph stock market news. Tho Royal Scottish Museum in Edinburgh has been closed owing to a suffragette smashing a case.
