A PITCHED BATTLE
STRIKE-BREAKERS RIOT. (Received February 11, 11.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, February 11. A mess'age from Charleston, West Virginia, states that five persons were killed and a score wounded in a battle between strike-breakers and the authorities iu the Kanawha Coal Company's area. The militia fired on the strikers, and there was wholesale noting, followed by a regular pitened battle.
