FATAL “JOY RIDE”
CHAUFFEUR ACQUITTED ON MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE. LONDON, February 9. The chauffeur Sallows, who was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter arising out of the death of a la<fy whom ha ran down white using his master’s car to give some intoxicated friends a “ joy ride,” has been acquitted.
