CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OPENED IN SYDNEY. THE EXCLUSION OF HIGHERCLASS CHINESE. SYDNEY, February 10. A Chinese Chamber of Commerce has been opened in Sydney. It is announced that this stop has been taken at the request of tho Chinese Government, and that its aim is to promote tho commercial interests of China. Speakers at tho meeting predicted a great demand for Australian wool and other commodities by China, and adversely criticised the excluding of the higher classes of Chinese and their Chinese wives from Australia, though they endorsed the exclusion, of Chinese labourers.
