YOUNG MAN’S FEARFUL DEATH. Press Association. THAMES, February 10. A sad fatality occurred at I’arawai, near Thames, last night, by which Alexander Dunlop, the son of a wellknown resident, received wounds as a k*esult of accidental shooting which caused death soon after. Dunlop, aged twenty-four, was in his bedroom cleaning a gun. It is presumed that after cleaning tbo weapon he loaded it and was in the act of putting it away when it caught against a box and the contents discharged. , , , Dunlop received a fearful wound m the abdomen. Medical assistance was called, but the man died before tho doctor arrived. At tho inquest a verdict of, accidental death was returned.
