THE TRUMPER BENEFIT MATCH. (Received February 9, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 9. Notwithstanding - drizzling rain throughout the day there were thirteen housand persons at the Trumper benefit match. The wicket was slow. Macartney and Barbour played brilliant ■ cricket. Trumper got a great ovation. Rest of Australia, first innings 358 Matthews (not out) 18. New South Wales lost three wickets for 214—Barbour 86, Macartney 91, Trumper (not out) 27.
