LORDS’ AMENDMENTS REJECTED. LONDON, February 8. The House of Commons, despite several Liberals favouring them, disagreed with the Lords’ amendments to the Scottish Temperance Bill, which allowed the Gothenburg as an alternative system to the Harben one. /
