WHEAT IN INDIA
SUCCESSFUL EXPERIMENTS. (Received February 9, 6.5 p.m.) DELHI, February 9. Researches by Professor Howard, Government Botanist, at Pasa show that wheat with milling and baking qualities similar to that of the English markets may he grown at Behar with a large yield to the acre without manuring or irrigation. Experiments in other parts have been most successful, and have led to a large demand for Pasa wheats.
