MOTOR-CYCLING

The results of the speed trial held by the Wellington Motor Cycling Club at Miramar on Saturday, afternoon are given below. The event was run off in heats of three, first and seconds in heats competing again till the final was reached. The numerous spectators were awarded with some very close finishes, the speed of the big power machines arousing considerable comment. Results: H. Plimmer, 23 h.p. Douglas, 1; P. England, 7 h.p. Indian, 2; E. S. Bender, 7 h.p. Indian, 3. Time, 28sec.
