Further progress wag made on Saturday afternoon with the Hutt Tennis Cluib tournament, when the following games were decided: Ladies' Handicap Singles. Miss C- Stevens (minus 10) beat Mrs Wagg (scr), 60—16. Miss Stevens played well throughout, her drives, especially those On the back hand, being well timed and placed. By her win on Saturday Miss Stevens wins the handicap singles. Combined Handicap Doubles. Miss Humfrey and Hursthouse (plus 17), beat Miss Wilson and C. 1. Brown (plus 12), 61—59. Miss C. Stevens and Power (scr) beat Miss Humfrey and Hursthouse (plus 17), 60 —54. Miss Stevens and Power play Mrs Wagg and Jackson in the final. Combined Championship. Miss Wilson apd C. I.
