ENGINEER’S REINSTATEMENT CHALLENGED./ (Received February 7, 10.10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 7. _ Mr Fowler is dissatisfied with tho terms of the commission issued to Mr Justice Hodges in tho Chinn case and declares that he intends to take further steps to challenge Mr Chinn’s appointment, ' ■' , It was reported yesterday that, as a result of the report of Mr Justice Hodges, the Royal Commissioner who investigated the allegations made in the House by Mr Fowler against Mr Henry Chinn, an engineer employed on the trans-continen-tal railway, the Government had reinstated Mr Chinn,_ and pays his back pay since his suspension, as well as tho cost v£ his defence.
