Press Association. WOODVILUi, February 8. Last night an eighieen-months-old boy, belonging to Mr Charles Lynch, ot Masterton road, was kicked by a horse. J.ne little fellow lingered until 6 o clock this morning, when he died. AUCKLAND, February 6. A child named Violet Irene 'ihompson, aged twenty-one months, died m hospital from what is believed to be alcoholic poisoning. She suffered from infantile diarrhoea, and her mother gave her brandy and port wine. _The child became so bad that it had to be removed to the hospital, where it died. An inquest will be held.
