ALLEGED DISCONTENT IN DUNEDIN. Press Association. DUNEDIN, February «. The “Star” alleges that there is serious discontent in the Dunedin Telegraph Office. consequent on there being no avenues of promotion after operators had passed severe examinations- In Australia better pay was offered, and shorter hours. Boys entering the service have no guarantee of promotion after passing their examination, and consequently prefer commercial work.
