The works of the Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Company of New Zealand, Ltd., at Petoae, will reopen at an early date. Applications by experts or learners for “hooks” are now being received. Four sections did not reach the reserve, and are now in the auctioneers’ hands for private sale. Hannah, and Co,, Ltd., intimate that every pair of boots and shoes on offer at their sale has been considerably reduced in price. The annual meeting of the Wellington Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen’s Association and Club Company, Ltd., will be held in the club rooms, Victoria street, on February 17th, at 8 p.m. Harcourt and Co., Lambton quay, insert particulars concerning several dairy and mixed farms they have for Quereo Bros., 110, Willis street, announce that they are holding a summer bargain sale, and insert an extensive price list of the many lines on offer. The Danaki Dairy and Creamery Co., Kiritaki, invites applications for the position of creamery manager. 1 S. George Nathan notifies that he has a small market garden farm at Lower Hutt to let or sell. The Glencoe Poultry Ranch, Karori, advertises Indian Runner ducks and stock birds lor sale. The Wellington Meat Export Co , Ltd., intimate that the works at Ngahauranga will be opened at an e#l.v date, and invite applications from men qualified to take places on the boards.
