BUSH FIRES
SERIOUS DAMAGE THOLSANDS OF SHEEP PERISH. Dy Telegraph—Preea Association—Copyright (Received February 6, 9,35 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 6. Bush fires did serious damage to grass, fencing and buildings at Waterloo, including the cemetery. Thousands of sheep perished in the twenty miles of country between Elaine and Lethbridge. A COOL CHANGE. (Received February 7, I.XO a.m.) SYDNEY, February 7. There is a cool change after the dry spell. Brief but beneficial rams have been fairly general.
